1 DAY BIKING ON /OFF ROAD TO “BAN SABAI” 7 MEKONG BOAT TRIP TO PAK OU CAVES / BM9-1 / GL1033

After the ferry crossing, ride a short distance on the tarmac road and get accustomed to your mountain bike. You then cycle heading north on single tracks passing through lush rice fields and local villages. Your guide will stop and let you have a rest before the start of the big climb!

You will cross several streams with clean fresh water, you won't be able to resist slashing your face to cool down and rest. once you reach the top of the mountain make the most of the photo opportunity before to head down to meet the Mekong River again on the border of Oudonxay Province. You will rest and get some drinks and food. Now enjoy a boat ride down the Mekong River to Luang Prabang, stopping at the famous Pak Ou caves on the way. If you have the energy you can walk up the 218 steps and visit the top cave as well.

Meet your guide early morning and we'll get you fitted and sorted on of our quality mountain bikes.  Ride a short distance to the Mekong River where we'll board the local car ferry to cross the river to the quiet district of Chomphet.
