A 1 Day 2 Nights experience at the Mekong Elephant Park, 

what's going to happen: Morning good wishes to Mae Kham the matriarch, then  Breakfast at the restaurant enjoy this hearty meal,
Departure for a full day at the park and explore and experience the life of the mahouts and the elephants,
The rest of the day will follow Full day Elephant Herd this is a great experience to understand the heard and the elephants habits
Day program until roughly 4.00pm,  Time for Mae Kham’s snack, Dinner at the restaurant and overnight stay.

After crossing the mighty Mekong, your guide will begin by
introducing the team, the sanctuary, its mission and initiatives towards animal welfare. Visitors will also be given
an in- depth presentation of our elephants, explain their very own story, their family ties without forgetting to
hear about the special bonds they all individually share with their mahout.

Enter the pure primary forest and meet the elephants in their natural habitat. At the
Mekong Elephant Park, we do not allow physical interactions between visitors and the elephants. We
encourage passive observation as believe we are the invitees to their world, their environment and wish to just
let them be.

The elephant heard day tour is a continuation of half day tour elephant wonders. After lunch, the continuity of tour goes as follows:

after a well deserved lunch, your guide will instruct you on the days activity which can range from, making vitamins balls, to picking fruits and vegetables for the elephants, to trekking the surroundings and admiring the Mekong views.

stroll through the compound and meet our craftsmen Mr. Kam the black smith, Ms. Mee, the weaver and Mr. Mong, the bamboo specialist. you will be fascinated by their expertise, their unique handicrafts with the creation of articles that each have their story ( and which you could even choose to bring home!)

Half day getting to know the Elephants and their habits close to the Mekong river, Pakbeng

1-night River Cruise downstream from Houay Xay to Pakbeng , lunch on-board, visiting local villages whilst enjoying the tranquility

A tranquil journey on the Might Mekong River, you will see the river narrow and the lush mountains raise higher.

Stopping off at Khmu Village.  Your guide is very tentative and will answer any questions you may have on Lao culture.

Cruise through inspiring gorges and labyrinths of mountain ranges.

On the cruise you will be served lunch, there is a bar with a few beverages to help relax in the cruise

You will rest in the small town of Pakbeng.

You will visit Ban Xang Hai is famous for its Lao Lao (distilled rice whisky); here, you can try before you buy.

A variety of handicrafts are also for sale here. Getting there, the village, 29 km north of Luang Prabang, a boat ride to Tam Ting (Pak Ou caves).

Here you will walk the narrow footpath-streets behind the very attractive wat, featuring weavers' looms, colourful fabric stalls and a few stills producing the wide range of liquors sold.
