THE LIVING LAND EXPERIENCE LUANG PRABANG / LL GL 300

The Living Land Company offers tours to its organic rice fields and vegetable farm, with an educational and participatory content, exceptional experience learn how it was done many moons back, you will explore natural traditions and skills used.

The visit consists of a half day “Rice Experience” during which we demonstrate the 13 steps of growing, harvesting and cooking sticky rice, “Khao Niew”, finishing with a degustation of some rice based specialties.

Working to support the local Community and children from poor families with their education and medical needs and keeping the farming trade alive from times gone by!

Itinerary

The Living Land Company offers tours to its organic rice fields and vegetable farm, with an educational and participatory content, presented by our farmers and craftsmen in Ban Phongvan.

Our daily morning tour and demonstration commences at 08:30am and finishes at 11:45am.

Our daily afternoon tour and demonstration starts at 13:30pm and finishes at 16:45pm.

The timely transfer and early arrival of guests at or before 08:15 or 13:15 is your responsibility. Late arrivals may miss part of the program.

Children:

We welcome children to the farm but they must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Our farm is not a playground.

Forward Bookings, Cancellations and Payments

Forward Bookings

Living Land Company accepts forward bookings up to 12 months ahead of the activity date.

A “Forward Booking” is defined as any booking made 16 days to 12 months before the activity date.

Forward bookings must be confirmed 30 days before the activity date.

Forward bookings that are not confirmed will automatically be cancelled.

Deposit

Bookings of 9 pax or more require a 50% deposit to be paid on booking confirmation 30 days before the activity date.

Cancellations

The following charges apply to cancelled bookings.
