Itinerary
Day 1: Luang Prabang to Nong Khiaw
You will be picked up from your hotel at 8am for the 4-5 hour drive to Nong Khiaw
On the way, stop at Ban Nayang. This is an indigo weaving village. Here you will learn how the many different colors of indigo dyes are created and the process for dyeing the threads for the weavers.
You will spend approximately two hours being involved with villagers learning different stages of indigo production. Then have a lunch at a local house before heading to the guesthouse.
After checking in your accommodation, you will head up to the scenic view point called Phou Pha Daeng, one of the highlights for this trip.

Day 2: Half trekking & half day kayaking
Start the morning off with a good breakfast for the 3 hours of trekking and 2 hours of kayaking.
The trek will take you through open countryside, farmlands, and rice fields where you’ll have an opportunity to interact with members of the local community hard at work.
The trekking will last about 3 hours, including a visit to a Tham Pha Tok Cave.
Tham Pha Thok is a series of caves in a limestone cliffs. Tham Pha Tok Cave is 2.3 km away from town and require you to walk through rice paddies and jungle. Originally used as a haven for villagers and a regional base for the Pathet Lao during the Laotian civil war, the cave is divided into the hospital, military and police segments, and the entrance is littered with bomb craters.
From the cave we connect to Nam Ou River, here you will rest on the beach.
Leave the beach start in your paddle boat kayaking down by Ou River to see the beautiful scenery from both sides of river bank included local fisherman on the way back to Nong Khiaw.

Day 3: Nong Khiaw to Luang Prabang
Breakfast in Nong Khiaw, then head back by minivan to Luang Prabang. Stopping on the way back we will stop for snack and buy some drink or take pictures
